The Memory Project: Finding Kalman
This multimedia exhibit interweaves a Holocaust survivor's story of the brother she lost with an artist's excavation of the past through the creative process. Viewers see a grid of nine portraits of Kalman being made juxtaposed with the nine paintings. Wall panels describe how the photos of Kalman survived. An exploration of creativity, resilience and family connections across generations.
